2. Pavlova:
Ingredients:
4 egg whites
1 cup caster sugar
1 tsp white vinegar
1 tsp cornflour
300ml thickened cream
Assorted fruits (e.g., strawberries, kiwi, passionfruit) for topping
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 120°C (250°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a clean, dry bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
Gradually add caster sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
Fold in vinegar and cornflour.
Spoon mixture onto prepared baking tray, shaping into a circle.
Bake for 1.5 hours or until pavlova is crisp on the outside. Turn off oven and leave pavlova to cool inside with the door slightly ajar.
Whip cream until thick. Spread over cooled pavlova and top with assorted fruits.
